An excess consumption of salt can be harmful to a health as it leads to an increased blood pressure and other heart-related ailments. Therefore, limit the consumption of salt in your foods, especially do not sprinkle an extra salt on the food when the food has already been served.

As you grow older, it is important to maintain a healthy weight. If you are an overweight, your mobility may become a great concern. Moreover, much other health related disease will follow you despite eating a good diet. Therefore to maintain a healthy lifestyle despite being an oldie, seek a dietitian help and support, who can guide you further on how to make necessary changes in your diet and lifestyle to maintain a healthy diet.
